BBA; Risk Management and Insurance

The BBA in Risk Management and Insurance at UOBD aims at preparing students to work in the financial
services sector as insurance companies and banks. Through the theoretical, practical and research
components of the program, students will be familiarized with financial risk management, different types of
risks and their management as well as being acquainted with the various functions of insurance company
management, such as underwriting, pricing, financing and investments. Small class sizes, business core
courses, and a rich curriculum of risk management and insurance courses facilitate the preparation of wellrounded graduates to land jobs in an ever-growing service sector and to pursue certificates in the field.
