In 1981, UAEU graduated its first cohort of 472 students. The alumni body has now grown to more than 63,000, many of whom occupy key positions in governmental and non-governmental organizations across the country and beyond. We are proud of their achievements and aspire to build a strong connection with all our alumni. Our aim is to ensure that our alumni have a platform to stay connected with each other and with the University.
Admission detail
Students are admitted to UAEU on the basis of an assessment of their present academic qualifications and the instructional capacities of academic programs. Admissions to the United Arab Emirates University is based on the admission policy which is issued annually and sets forth the specific criteria for each of the following categories: United Arab Emirates Citizens and Children of National Mothers Students from GCC, other countries, Associations and Organizations Sons and Daughters of Faculty at UAEU and UAEU Employees Old High School Certificate International Students To be considered for direct admission to a degree program, applicants must satisfy the following requirements along with meeting the minimum admission requirements in the appropriate category: Proof of English language proficiency which may take one of the following forms: An EMSAT minimum score of (1250) A TOEFL minimum score of (IBT = 70 / ITP = 525) An IELTS minimum score of (5.5) To see the approved centers for IELTS and TOFEL Exams click here.
