Designed to ensure that students master forensic science and its interdisciplinary areas through exploration, and examination of forensic sub-disciplines and emerging techniques, including DNA forensics and forensic chemistry, among others.

A major emphasis of the program is the development and completion of a research problem that involves advanced techniques and concepts, culminating in an oral defense of the Ph.D. dissertation. The objective of the Ph.D. program in Forensic Science is to prepare students to work as professionals in academia, government laboratories, or in a private organization as laboratory specialists.

This program is designed to introduce students to forensic science and its interdisciplinary nature through an exploration and examination of forensic sub-disciplines and emerging techniques including DNA forensics and forensic chemistry, among others. Beyond providing students with a broad overview of forensic science, students will be encouraged to explore and develop their own specific interests within the field.

Our state-of-the-art Forensics laboratory gives students a chance to participate in practical simulations of forensic studies such as fingerprinting, DNA Profiling, toxicological analysis, trace evidence analysis, questioned documents, and handwriting examinations.

The 4-year B.Tech. Nanotechnology program at Amity University Dubai gives students a sound understanding of the applications of Nanotechnology & Nanoscience in a wide range of areas including basic sciences, engineering, healthcare, the electronics industry, pharmaceuticals, research, and agriculture.

Students are required to take a certain number of credit units from each of the categories.

The B.Tech (Nanotechnology) programme spans across eight semesters and focuses on:

Basic technological knowledge of nano materials and devices
Application of Nanotechnology & Nanoscience in a wide range of areas including basic sciences, engineering, healthcare, electronics industry, pharmaceuticals, research and agriculture.
Prepare student for the development of innovative technologies for above areas in societal benefits.
Inculcate moral value, professional ethics and business communication skills in the students.
