Prosthodontics looks at the design, manufacture, and fitting of the artificial replacement of teeth and other parts of the mouth.
Our Master of Science (MSc) degree in Prosthodontics is underpinned by the practice, teaching, and research intended to educate our students in the core concepts and current information necessary for a thorough and appropriate assessment and examination of the patient. This includes understanding their dental, pulpal, periradicular, periodontal, oral, and peri-oral tissues in relation to the presenting of complaints of the patient, arriving at the right diagnosis.
The Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Prosthodontics combines advanced academic, clinical, and research training along with the experience of patient care (clinical and non-clinical). Benchmarked against international standards, here at HBMCDM we aim to provide our postgraduate dental students with rich and diversified learning opportunities, to ensure they are prepared with the knowledge, skills, and experience to serve the community and promote excellence within the healthcare system.
The three-year program incorporates clinical training at the level of Specialist Trainee and provides appropriate preparation for the Membership Examination of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons UK.
